Our Wedding Song - Grow old with me

My friend Tony used to always play this riff at party's and I would always try to put a melody on top of it. Long story short, I told Meghan that I would write her a song and sing it to her at our wedding. We used Tony's riff, and my friend Scott put together the lead parts on the morning of the wedding. I was also lucky enough to have my friend Erin there to sing background vocals (she can actually sing!!!) As you can hear from my wavering (and often times flat) voice, I was incredibly nervous so..I hope you like it! Special thanks to Jeff Kashdin for taping it. We actually used his footage for our wedding video, as our videographer just zoomed in on me and walked away! IDIOT!

Awe, that's so sweet! So you flew by the seat of your pants, you still did great. There weren't many dry eyes in the house by the time you were done! I just hope I have the same courage you had at our wedding reception! I wrote a song for my fiance and I sing in the church choir, but I'm horrible when standing alone!

OKay to be honest you wasn't perfect, but you did one hell of a job!! Not many groom's will think of something like that at their wedding. Great job, congratulations and Happy Anniversary (early) looks like you'll be going on your ten year is that correct?

Thanks - Def. not perfect. We did not get to practice it together until the day before the wedding!! I'm just glad that I did not throw up or wet my pants during the song! 10 years coming up this summer - thanks for the message!
