This is my display at the 2008 tractor show in Brookville, Indiana. I used my Wisconsin AKN Engine with an old centrifugal pump. It worked nicely even though it was not very efficient.
i just found a centrifugal pump like that in the woods at my grandparents i cleaned it up got it working and my Briggs FH seems to run it real well even just idaling along
i cant wait untill i finally get my BKN running. i think i have the timing pretty close but i am not 100% sure yet. still cant find the timing mark on the cam gear. once i get that sorted out i need to get a proper carb for it and make up a fuel line. then i have to clean the really nasty crap out of the crank case. i'll probably flush it out with kerosene for now then change the oil a couple times. but i love the huge flat belt pulley it has on it!
what kind is it? i just found an old brass roller pump at my grandmas last week! i hooked it up to a westinghouse motor i hag lyingaround and found it works exelent! it moves mor water than it looks capable of! more than my red piston pump anways and it is not even a quarter of the size! ill have to post it!
