Bail out Protest - Austin, Texas - 9-25-08

On September 25, 2008, all over the US, demonstrations sprung up to protest the Bush administrations ill conceived $700 billion financial industry bail out plan. This video was shot at the Austin, Texas demonstration which was held downtown in front of the 6th St. office building in which Senator John Corny has his office. Participants were a diverse group, from old radical members of the Movement for a Democratic Society to young Ron Paul supporters. Senator Cornyn never made it down from his high perch to join the protest.

There is something really odd about the $700 billion bailout, I feel that there is another agenda behind it, from what I understand, if this bailout takes place basically the federal government will own all the banks and all those mortgages... That's pretty much how a communist Country operates, where the government owns everything. Personally I don't support this bailout at all.
