My second college project work, which I have to make a 10 seconds long E4 ident, using Macromedia Flash 8 animation software.
The animation features a GNR Stirling Single 4-2-2 steam locomotive, pulling an express train somewhere in Yorkshire, and the E4 came out of her funnel, before hitting the tunnel entrance!
The sound effects of a semaphore signal dropping and the train whistle is from Thomas and friends, where I used Emily's whistle for the Stirling Single's.
Some of the Audio used in this film is Copyrighted HiT Entertainment Limited and I don't own these.

Hope u enjoy!!! ^_^

This animation is also available on deviantART But soundless!!! :( http://yanamationpictures.deviantart.com/art/E4-ident-GNR-Stirling-Single-159...

  • Oooh, this is very nice, well done. Clever use of Henry's whistle and the CGI series signal dropping sound.

  • @SodorProductions Thank you :D However, that's not Henry's whistle, that's Emily's, I've got it from an episode "Emily's Adventure"

  • @Yanamation Pardon me, but HiT always seems to forget what her whistle is. It has changed from a new whistle, to a lower pitched Edward's, to Henry's, etc. They're indecisive about it XD

  • @SodorProductions Yeah, they'r sometimes very random :P

  • This is FANTASTIC work! everything about it is perfect, the Stirling, even the manner in which the signal drops and it's distinctive sound. Keep this up, and maybe in coming years we start our own animation company!

  • @steamboy51

That's an Excellent idea!!! We might make our short films! I might gonna make another animation about trains, using CGI!
