I just finnished the first one. As a female gamer it was great to create my own female Shepherd. It was as close as you can get to being in the plot. It was brilliant and I CAN'T WAIT for the next one.
My boyfriend is already prepparing to be a Mass Effect Widower.

I just figured out that the character in chuck play a role in mass effect 2. I thought that the voice acting sounded familiar.
It took some time but i figured it out in the end.

BTW, Keith David is one of the few returning characters from Mass Effect. What gives? Or were most of the characters killed off in the storyline. If so, that is so typical!

@fredrika27 No...BioWare has said we'll see ALL of the main characters from ME1...but we'll only be able to recruit two of them...
SPOILERS!!!!
You can have Garrus and Tali come back with you (as romanceable options, according to rumour!). But, because this is supposed to be a suicide mission, the main love interests from ME1 have been kept out of the battle...so they can survive to be there for ME3
