  • We adopted Rusty the Aeirdale Terrrier Lab mix. He is a GREAT dog! He loves his long walks and naps by the fire. He has a Corgi to play with in the big yard. He is happy to be HOME.

  • @mjrandles1

We were so happy Rusty got rescued at the 11th hour and then adopted! He had been adopted out twice before and returned both times. It stated on his info the adopters returned him because he had too much energy! Well, he is just a puppy and Terrier's have alot of energy! Thank you for giving him such a great loving home! Maybe it was just fate he was meant to be with you!

  • Who is the first singer? Such a beautiful choice for the material at hand! So happy that Charlie got adopted! Wish I could take the rest!!!!!!

  • @FlashOblue

The song is called Hawai'i 78 - Facing the Future by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. It is a beautiful song. We too are so happy Charlie got adopted! He was just the sweetest boy and still had so much life and love to give! I would love to see a current picture of him! I bet he cleaned up to be a very handsome gentleman, he so needed a good bath and brushing.

  • and what is the name of that beautiful song????

  • Ireland, this is a fantastic video! Thank you for being an advocate for animals in need!

  • Ireland, Wow,This video by such a young girl gives me hope that help is on it's way for all the homeless animals. To see such a nail on the head video from a fifth grader lifts my spirits and hopes for the future. Everything about your video is perfect for it's intended purpose. You captured so much in this video. You have saved lives. I am renewed just knowing help is on it's way in the form of a whole new generation with hearts like yours. Thank you.

  • Compelling and incisive video-it really does reveal the bleak and heartbreaking conditions at the OC shelter. I understand that over 5,000 homeless dogs and cats are killed there EVERY year. So sad. Jack London, in his great anti-animal cruelty novel MICHAEL BROTHER OF JERRY put it this way: "Practically all us will weep red tears ... But not one-tenth of one per cent of us will join any organisation for the prevention of cruelty to animals ....this is a weakness of our own human nature."

  • Beautiful Video! You captured many of the tears in these dogs eyes and your compassion and concern for animals shows through! Keep on making films you are helping change the world and lives of these dogs!

  • Wow, alot of these dogs seen in this video have been adopted. I am not sure if it was completely from the video, but maybe it helped. Ireland received a Ribbon of Merit for her video.
