I hate to dwell on religion here, but can we just note that when Cat wrote all of this beautiful and profoundly moving music, he was Christian? An Anglo and Christian background is what formed him into the great man he was/is. His conversion as an adult is his choice and everyone should let him be, but all the Muslim's seem to take credit for him, when they should count themselves as lucky that he is in their company.

@MargaretN419 i meet him a couple of days ago and we all sang his new song it was unbelievable, i got to shack his hand and tell him how much of an inspiration to us and i looked right into his eyes and saw a child of God. What a man :)

I've been listening to Cat Steven way back when. I have all his albums and had the pleasure of seeing him in concert, which was unbelievable and one that I would never forget. For what ever reason he decided to stop singing, writing, and recording it hasn't matter to me, I still feel he is a great artist. I also wish him well with ever he is doing now.
