This boat is 4 feet in length and is remote control. The boat runs scale speed on the water.

  • @Skytroop - Hi Skytroop - Actually, PT 68 was in RON 8 - - my Dad was aboard 68.

  • Hehe one could just imagen producing, desiging or workin on such a boat.

    I want a model ! :P

  • Very nice job! I like the water cooled motors.

  • Beautiful job. the early ELCO's are under represented in the modeling community.

Two critiques; 1. The 68 boat was in Ron 4 and not Ron 2. you have a Ron 2 insignia on the chart house. 2. This boat was camouflaged when it was in service in New Guinea.

All in all a beautiful job just the same,...I am envious.

  • I just looked at this again. Such beautiful work!

  • you scartch built THAT? Awesome!

  • I'm impressed!

  • Where's LTCMD McCail? Great boat, great Dire Strait's tune too.

  • Outstanding model! At first I thought a torpedo tube was on backwards but obviously not. What's with the tube covers/ I've never seen that arrangement in photos. Mike

  • So put it in the water already!!!
