We climbed Mt Kenya in 2008 around Christmas. The mountain was uncrowded, the terrain rugged, and the weather quite perfect. This mountain is beautiful and a highly recommended hike. We successfully made it to Pt Lenana twice, going up on an afternoon ascent and then an early morning sunrise ascent. Here is a quick glimpse of the Sirimon - Chogoria route 6 days.
