Grew up with a dad that had a country band, and he LOVED Sammi Smith.. learned how to do this song, hadn't heard her version in 30 years.. she is still the best female country singer! And she could ROCK a song.

Quite simply the best version of this song. It takes on a whole other meaning when sung by a woman.
