Mortars are anti-infantry weapons. Artillery is anti-tank

Mortars aren't made for use against tanks. They're used to make a big impact area and using dirt as shrapnel... very effective against infantry, but just rain on a tank.

Man, the Edelweiss is tough. A mortar blast barely even scratched it.
