Dumbbell shoulder press are a good exercise to use either as a combination exercise to create more training volume in a toning / cutting regimen or as a warm-up for a heavy workout.
Dropping your hips back and squatting deep is easy for this because the dumbbells in the high hang position act as a counter balance.
