@TrueMoonTM I used to think the same. But as SMGV said...it was all in either the salt, condiments, seasonings, or carbs I had with it. Once you get off all the junk your taste buds completely change, takes on average of 10 days. I wouldn't eat the way I do if it literally wasn't the most enjoyable way to eat! I eat out of preference. Steak is still available to me...but I get my sweet and juicy from fruit vs. chocolate cake and blood, urine, and lymph fluid from meat! :)

@RealRawResults It's a great thing he inspired you to speak about it because many needed to hear it, including myself :-)

@natureasintended No worries, it was the user StopMeatGoVeg who commented right before my previous comment. :)

@vineyardedge Your over the top analogy made me disinterested in what you have to say. You don't need to be an extremist to get your point across. Maybe you should THINK before you write something over the top if you want to get people to listen.

@TrueMoonTM It might be exhilarating shooting people before you shoot yourself also, but I am not going to do that. Livestock production is wiping out our water and our land. Eating steak just because it is good is the result of having very poor judgment. It is the 2nd lowest level of judgment to eat something just because it is good. You are taking everyone else OUT with YOU when you eat flesh. THINK, TrueMoon, THINK!

@gracelilian95 Yes, I used to be a huge drinker of that and other green teas. At least twice a day every day. I gave it up a few years ago and am very glad I did. It's incredibly stimulating and just not something that someone should be drinking. There are more than enough antioxidants in fruits and veggies! :)

Eating foods that contain water is also hydrating. It's the people that eat dried, baked foods that need all that extra water. It is easy to overwork your kidneys by having too much fluid as well. If you are peeing every 5 minutes, time to cut back. I read that having to urinate more than 5x per day is taxing to your kidneys.I agree that sleeping well (and you don't need as much if your diet has a proper ph) and hydrating are crucial for keeping weight down and having energy. Great job, Chris!

@vineyardedge I definitely disagree on the peeing more than 5 times per day = taxed kidneys. I believe it would be the opposite! When urinating that infrequently your kidneys don't have proper fluid to filter out toxins and other waste and that is what's taxing on the kidneys. There are dehydrated people who just think peeing more than 5X per day is "normal" though! I've also found that extra water is usually needed after switching from an unhealthy diet/lifestyle. Lots of catching up to do!
