5/3/2007 - On his nightly Fox News program "The O'Reilly Factor" (during the "Talking Points Memo" segment), host Bill O'Reilly addressed an Indiana University study that made an inquiry about the top-rated Fox News program. Through poignant research, the study pointed out that during his nightly "Talking Points Memo", as Mr. O'Reilly himself (with a seemingly sarcastic tone) stated, "I, your humble correspondent, call somebody a name every 6.8 seconds during my T-Points presentation each evening?". While attempting to discredit the study, Mr. O'Reilly entered into familiar territory, attacking Media Matters and linking the watchdog group to George Soros and Moveon.org, also displaying a chart (which he introduced in a segment about a week earlier), claiming the purported link between those three "far-left" entities, and many others.
