Kids are stupid. Dumb shits like Moore indoctrinate them. They are largely spoiled ungrateful brats who believe people should pay for their college, health care, and housing. Moore would love that, because he's a dirty socialist who never grew out of that stage of his life.Try this, you can vote after paying $40,000 worth of taxes.

Why does a lower voting age work for Michael Moore? Kids are impressionable, even more consumed by gizmos and commercialism and "what's cool" than adults. Kids don't understand political arguments. I was one not too long ago. I wouldn't want the 16 year old version of me voting because I didn't understand the issues. I was a product of my school and my parents. Kids will listen to Michael Moore because they love celebrities. Can we bring back George Carlin from the dead? He'd know what the say.

I think you assume too much. The voting age definitely should be lowered. "most kids under 18 don't know the consequences of most of their actions" - even if that WERE true as a generalization, you cannot base a blanket rule off of a generalization, that's a "broad generalization" logical fallacy. Most kids are immature does not = all kids are immature. Creating a law that categorically bars youth from voting is a slap in the face to all young people that ARE informed enough to vote.
