  • I have just bought the HD6870 Flex 1GB. Just wondering what screens are best. I like 1920x1200 sized screens, but would 3 of those be pushing it ? Would I be better off getting 3 x 1920x1080 screens ?

  • @MrMorph1000 There are a lot of variables when it comes to eyefinity performance. Try to find some eyefinity reviews and that will give you a better idea of what to expect.

  • im buying a new computer with in the week i have 3 screen, 1 has hdmi x2 and vga, 1 has hdmi and vga and the last one has dvi and hdmi, im sure my graphics will have one hdmi, one dvi and 2 mini display ports but i already have a active mini display port to dvi card on the way so how could i make eyefinity work?

  • @Horror92 You will need to connect one of the VGA monitors to a DVI-VGA adapter (which should come with the graphics card) and plug that into the DVI porton the graphics card, then connect the HDMI monitor to the HDMI port and finally use the MiniDP to DVI connector on the third monitor

  • @p165711 You may want to check your FOV (Field of View) settings. Some games do need adjustment to get the side monitors to suit your viewing preference. nVidia do not support 3 monitors from a single graphics card.

  • Do all the screens you are using have to be the same size and/or resolution??

  • Hi there, I would like to ask if I wanna go into 3 screens mode while playing games and while alt tab to the windows, I just wanna view in a single screen in the middle. Any idea how should i do that? also, I have heard about program that actually correct and fix the resolution while playing games in 3 screens, do I really need that?

  • I have (2) Dell 1907's and (1) Dell 2408 monitor in the center and the Sapphire 6950 Flex. All three connected as he configured in this video with the DVI and HDMI DVI cable. Each monitor is individually adjusted for resolution. I like the Eyefinity option if i played games, but use the monitors to extend my desktop from the center to left and right. Beautiful colors and displayed resolution and easy to set up.

  • hd6790 can i have 2,3 or even 4 monitors ???

  • I have three Monitors, all DVI. I have a Card that has two DVI and a Display port. I hooked one monitor into the Display Port via adapter and my computer will only recognize two screens at one time. I can activate the third screen only by disabling a previous screen. Help? Ideas?

  • Is there someway to make the monitor show its relevant program in its taskbar?

  • @SapphireUKPR Thanks, I had a look around and found someone was using 6 x Samsung S24A300H and it worked very well apparently. I think I might go for the 1080p as 1200 is a bigger premium. My main concern was if this is designed with 1080p in mind then, the extra pixels of a 1200 pixel height might be a problem. Or am I just plain wrong - would a few more pixels have much effect ?

  • @asdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaism The third monitor you connect needs to be connected using a DP monitor or active adapter. You have the choice of a DP-DVI adapter or a DP-VGA adapter. These should not cost as much as 100€, so you might want to shop around for a better deal

  • @asdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaism And also, do I necessarily need a 100€ active adapter or is there a way to get this done cheaper than buying a DP monitor/the 100€ adapter?
