British Army Land Rover - The Yorkshire Regiment

A 1st Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment (1 YORKS) Land Rover with a .50 cal HMG at the battalion's homecoming parade from a tour of duty in Iraq. Taken in Saturday Market, Beverley, East Yorkshire, England, 23 July 2009. It was quite difficult to film with my phone as the sun was bright so I could not see a lot on the screen, plus there were loads of people about as you can see, but I hope the video is interesting all the same! :-)

@TheLewisJackson nice one mate btw i will be uploading vids from the same event in 2010 soon - got more land rover footage! took a long vid of loads of military vehicles but then took bonus footage of the land rover (could not get close first time), will up load the short vid today or tomorrow :-) watch this space... max

good video, although its disgraceful landrovers have needed to be used in Iraq / Afghanistan

Thanks for your comment, yeah I heard people talking who were concerned about the lack of armour on the vehicle and all that, its the first time Ive been really up close to a modern military vehicle and what happened on the day really made me appreciate what these guys n gals do more than any film or TV report will ever do.
