On Sunday March 26, 2006 I decided to take a final trip to the Winnipeg Arena for a last trip down memory lane. I managed to find all sorts of interesting items throughout the debris and captured my final moment at the site on Camera.

    Bring'Em Back!

  • ** Watch in High Quality Only! **

This was a sad day for myself, Manitobans and Canadians as a whole. For me; This day was the true end of the Jets in Winnipeg until they return!

  • man memmories, The Shrime Circus ballone at the end of the vid with the old peppsie cup man the memmories thows items gota been like back from the early 90's at least

  • i went by as well after the demolition.

  • Sad to see this, i can`t imagine what you must of felt like. I had a lump in my throat, watching this video, but it must of been worse for you. BRING`EM BACK

  • i know thats right they tore this down yet over in quebec the remparts use an older arena then the winnipeg arena that makes no sence whats so speical about the nordeques arena that this didnt have i love this arena and the jets and the wolf pack (from AHL) probaly use the old whalers arena but all i can say now is that is unfair to all hockey fans in winnipeg who have been coming here for years to watch the jets then suddenly u lose the jets then the arena a few years later

  • darn this sucks, I wish they could have at least kept it for the Manitoba Moose and built the MTS centre for an eventual NHL return.

In Quebec city the Remparts (from the QMJHL) still use the old Quebec Nordiques arena from the 1940s and there's still some occasional shows and motorcycle races in there. Sometimes this place is almost sold out during remparts games

  • Sad Sad day.
