Hermione and Ron have been having a rough relationship for as long as they could remember. Ron is so insecure, and he seems to get envious at everything Hermione is capable of. Hermione, being a brilliant student, thinks that Ron is such a loser-boyfriend, and that the only reason she's been coping with this behaviour is because she pities him (for being not to bright, and for being financially troubled).
Harry, Ron's bestfriend, is always there for Ron, in all of his ups and downs; and Hermione falls in love with the only man who could stand Ron.
But she could never leave Ron because he is weak and leaving him would break the poor guy's heart. So, she only secretly *ust* for this man in her sleep, where no one can stop her from loving the man she truly loves.
What Hermione doesn't know is that Harry also loves her the same way as she does him. Out of some circumstances, they end up kissing, and Ron discovers by gossip that they are having an "affair" behind his back. Harry and Ron then fights.
