John DeCamp, a dumptruck driver, has failed his DOT exam because of his cataract. He is unemployed, without insurance and unable to afford much needed cataract surgery. John is about to get free cataract surgery as part of the Vision Harvest 2009 program.
Vision Harvest is an annual event that aims to provide free cataract surgery to people who do not have insurance and in need of treatment. Patients come from all over the US from New Jersey to as far as Indiana to receive free cataract surgery.
