driving through searsport and saw this house on fire
SEARSPORT FIRE... Smoke rises from an old Sea Captain's house on Mortland Road in Searsport Thursday where firefighters from area towns were working to contain the blaze. The home is owned by Rhoda Sutfin and her sister Rhonda Colcord. Rhoda said the home belonged to her grandparents and her parents before her. She said several antiques were in the home at the time of the fire. Her father, Jay Colcord, had moved out of the house to another location about six years earlier and the home was vacant at the time of the fire, which was reported shortly after 5 p.m., Thursday
