Dude, you want to get metal out of this amp? Get an attenuator, turn the master and gain up to 7, turn your guitar volume all the way up, get a compressor and crank it all the way up. A distortion pedal on tube amp is lame, use the natural distortion that you spent over 1000 bucks on!!!

I viewed your comment just to give it a shit vote after reading. Now that's a shame.

@devinsetsfire63 1.If you can buy an amp,you can play the amp (If you know how to plug one in that is) 2.You have no way of proving his parents have high income of any sort 3.You shouldn't hate on people playing guitar this video is to show off the amplifier,which is why it is a video about showcasing an amp. Not a cover of a song 4.His playing is not that bad.

@scarey2k7 Seriously who gives a shit, people who good at guitar, passionate, and creative are gonna be the one's making good music, it doesn't mean jack shit whether youve got rich parents who cannot afford nice things or not.

@devinsetsfire63 lol you got served.

Atleast he's not playing the metalcore (shit) single string riffs =)

@devinsetsfire63 Yeah, man not being funny, but this is kind of a douchbag comment. I'm 100% against rich kids having better equipment than people who deserve it, but to say someone isn't a good player because they're not shredding is ignorant. His rhythmic and picking skills are awesome. Great rhythm guitarist if I do say so myself.

@Moustachio101 Nicely put. You play well, man. Better than me. I just bought a Vox AC30 and by some standards I'm a rubbish guitarist. =P
Keep it up dude!

What gets me is, you're playing skills don't match the orange. Someone's parents are rich, the amp is way to nice for the shit you're playing through it. Not that the music was bad but the skill level is too low for such a high end amp. shame

@devinsetsfire63 It's funny because I saved up for this amp off of my own back.
As I stated in the description, this isn't a showcase of my playing ability, just showing the kind of tone you can get from the amp.
Anyway, since when did amps have a "Skill requirement" for one to use them?

i'm just wondering but why would you use a metal muff for a distortion when the gain on those orange amps is monsterishly epic and you can just boost it a bit using either a digitech bad monkey for a cheap solution or just a find a good one in a Maxon od808
also you might wanna look into getting a Sennheiser e609 or e906 mic to record the stuff you put on here as it sounds a lot better than that cameramic ^^

@SmellvinoStitch I tried loads of pedals through this amp, using them just as boosters to give it a bit more bite, and this one was the one that just stood out to me. It's just the one I work best with.
With it's 3-band EQ it's a bit more versatile than some other pedals, too.
And yeah, you're totally right about the microphone situation, I am going to buy a half decent interface with a nice preamp and some decent mics... When I have the money, haha!

@alex2616794 Also, if your amp has a clean and dirty channel select, put it on the dirty channel.
