we've got quite the dialogue going on here. That's a good thing. It's constructive to exchange thoughts and ideas. Especially when their positive. I don't feel so disenfranchised and hopeless.

well come to vancouver island and watch them skin every mountain for pecker poles and they load them all on ships and send them to schina no jobs for anyone , but the fallers truckers and boomers.. its disgusting

nice cut, how far did she roll? I made a side hill cut once and I gaurantee that log is still down in the canyon somewhere , was a bout 50 feet in the air last I saw it(no pun intended)

@maxhole2 but i think crazier fluctuations are riding on the back of some more profound climate trending.. i as mostly liberal i suppose, or middle of the road, HATE the EPA, for ruining manufacturing in this country... and leaving us with nothing but relatively obsolete service jobs... so western corps export their emissions (industry) to the third world, which we all inherit living on this seemingly more confined planet

@davetileguy Haha, well you're totally right! I am willing to do my own role in playing a better world. I'm heading myself to be a "Bioarchitect". In my country, universities are ridiculously cheap (you pay your taxes and you get a 3000$ Phd, yes, 3k $ polytechnicum phd). Building a little "earth community", with a permculture farm, earth building and all the stuff, is what i'm dreaming of.

@Rhinoch8 Why don't all the people who talk conservation act on it? it's just lip service ,do you have an electric car? I support your right to buy one,I however do not want one,I'v been in construction for 25 years,I'v NEVER worked on a house with solar panels,why would my customer spend $100,000 on a kitchen remodel instead of green energy? lip service talk bullshit and trying to bend others to their way.Most tree huggers in Seattle have Ipe decks and cedar fences but vote Dem.

@Rhinoch8 Thats a fair enough opinion but it's just that an opinion and mine and a lot of other peoples issue is that the schools and media are telling my children and all the sheeples that there's only one way to see things and quote "the debate is over" So a policy based completly on politics is being jammed down our throat with no disscusion,A power grab that effects my dirtbike my family farm the color I have to paint my roof trees on my own property basicly every fucking aspect of my life.

@Rhinoch8 Now, i'm not against logging. We need wood to build. What i don't like is the way monoplistic companies rule the world, using this stupid and failing American jurisdiction, occidentalising third-world countries to feed the progress. Its this occidentalisation that is to be feared. Don't stop your mind to what you can phisically see or touch. The world is much bigger and complicate than what i previously said.

@Rhinoch8 This fragile balance is about humanity living on a planet. This planet don't give a fuck about whatever happens, the balance don't apply to it, it will go on. The danger is only for people living on the planet.
