Review Cold Steel Recon 1 Tanto

in my humble opinion, great blade, great value, super strong, only a couple of downsides to me that may not be the same for others.

@imgaryk I was so torn between the Drop point and Tanto. Never owned a Tanto blade before so I thought why not.

@WesternBushcraft I figured from what I've seen it could make a decent backup survival knife even though its a folder, its a strong knife. I like big knives as well, someday I'll probably be carrying the Espada, if only.

I have the Drop Blade Recon 1 and love it. Carry it every day and it is a great knife.

Pros

Really strong I've batoned through 2x4s with it!!

Big blade (I like)!!!!

Tanto will damage anything in it's path!!!!!

Cons

I can't sharpen it to a razor edge for some reason ??

Pocket clip combined with the g10 will shred up your pocket!!!

Teflon coating came off oh well though
