This is mesmerizing. Lea Salonga has an exquisite voice and is an incredible performer. I saw this play with my auntie and cousins when I was younger and we were all in tears.

Huh? What are you talking about? Lea Salonga didn't play Kim for over a decade non stop. She did get replaced by other actresses, both in London and Broadway.

I saw Lea in London in the original production before it went to Broadway. The year was 1990. I was only 13, but I remember being so emotionally ravaged by the show and her performance I couldn't even get out of my seat for over 45 after the audience had left the theatre post-show. That girl knocked my heart right outta my chest and I'll never forget it.
