He is adorable! Congrats! My cousin was pregnant with a baby more than 7 years ago who had gastroschisis. Unfortunately I don't think she did much research and just took what the doctors told her(he wouldn't live past 10, would have to pay 20,000 a year to feed him, etc) and she decided to terminate the pregnancy. My only wish is that she would have looked up more information about it and see how babies can survive and thrive! God Bless!

Congratulations, He's so cute!!! =) I found out i am having a a baby girl yesterday. (So excited) I also found out she also has gastroschisis. What kind of advice and information can you give to a worried father to be? Thank you so much.

My daughter was born with gastroschisis but didnt need a silo (sp?) She is 8. Good luck.

My daughter was born with gastroschisis as well she is now 17 months old. i hope everything goes well with baby Phoenix. Isn't it amazing how strong they are!

How is baby Phoenix doing now? My son was born with Gastroschisis also... hes 5 yrs old now... I just wanted to see how the baby is doing now... good luck and Ill pray for him..
