I have since washed out the remote which got we, and put it back together tightening the screws a little tighter. Seems to have survived now.North Vegas 2009 12m in about 19 - 23 knots at Oxwich Bay Swansea, UK.

The remote is meant to be waterproof. It turned out to be that the screws were just not tight enough which hold it together. I must say that Drift Innovation support were excellent, and sent me a new remote - no questions asked!
