Could this be used for lets say sturgeon? If lets say one was hooked. What are the specs on those Catfish Fighter rods they look cool

@RadioWagonRob The reel would be fine for a fish that size. I would not trust the Catfish fighter rod to hold up to that abuse though. An R1 or R2 War Rod would be better suited for that type of demand.

Honestly I have never used them in Salt Water but that is the basis for the reel. The biggest limitation I could see would be casting distance, but with an 11ft rod, that should make it a screamer.
