Marijuana

I've never even seen the stuff, let alone smoked it.
I don't want arguments for the legalization of marijuana, and I don't present any in the video. There are hundreds of videos that call for the legalization with great supporting arguments that you can find elsewhere.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard any real arguments against it. The ones I have heard and am not convinced by:
1) More people (or everyone) will use it. -This isn't what we see with tobacco or alcohol. In fact, people seem to use both of these at a higher rate before they reach the legal age (just look at college campuses). The people who use marijuana will. Those who do not, won't.
2) Marijuana is a gateway drug. - Now, I've thought about this one. The only reason that I can see marijuana being a gateway drug is if it is illegal and has to be bought through a supplier. The reason I say this is because marijuana itself is not addicting; there are some medical opinions out there that it's less addicting than caffeine. But, when a dealer has someone buying marijuana from him already, the surest way to keep a steady income is to introduce the buyer to something that is addictive. "Hey, you like that buzz? Try this, it's even better! You're already doing illegal sh*t anyway."
3) It's addictive. - There are numerous studies that show it to be less or as addictive as caffeine.

@SuperRighteous7 What is WRONG with you?? No I don't think a pot head is going to go out and kill anybody?? But that doesn't make it right to use it! A grown adult should be WELL PAST the age where they want to use a mind-alteirng drug like marijuana or alcohol to get "buzzed", enjoy life, relax and unwind, etc. People need to grow up and take a stand and set an example! And I suppose you smoke pot, right?? And do NOT compare marijuana with VACCINATIONS!!! What an excuse!!!!

@cindybin2001 And I can't believe you would bring up the thing about marijuana being less addictive than caffeine. I'm not saying it's good to use caffeine; I'm totally against coffee. But you CANNOT compare drinking coffee to smoking pot! It is not ANYTHING like that! My parents drank coffee and nobody was "high" or "stoned" or "buzzed" or anything!!! We shouldn't use drugs like marijuana or alcohol!!! Legal or not! And pot should be illegal forever, with VERY STIFF PENALITIES!!!

@cindybin2001 Yahoo had a story about a woman in prison for smuggling pot across the border. The cartels planted in her car. Her life is ruined, she can no longer raise her son. I tell this to the pot smokers online, trying to get them to feel bad and stop smoking pot, and what do they do? Cuss me out and blame the LAW!!!! They just can't understand that it is THEIR FAULT!! It's all about the DEMAND for pot here in the US!!! We need to be FURIOUS at these pot smokers who break the law!

@cindybin2001 And then you try to tell all these casual pot smokers how they should be ashamed of themselves because they contribute to all the crime and violence by the cartels, etc. Well instead of feeling ashamed of themselves, they just blame the LAW!!! they just don't get it! If people would just shape up and NOT SMOKE POT, we wouldn't have all the crime and violence! But no, these pot smokers only think of themselves and their "buzz". They make me sick. they really need to grow up!

@cindybin2001 The pot smokers always say that legalizing and taxing and regulating marijuana would be so great. Well regulating it for who?? ADULTS?? Adults are the ones who should know better and NOT SMOKE POT! What a thing to do! And then the pot smokers say legalizing it would keep it out of the hands of kids. Well I have NEVER known where to find marijuana! It is ILLEGAL!!! There is absolutely NO REASON for pot to be legal. People should just shape up and NOT SMOKE POT, period!!!

@cindybin2001 And these pot smokers, where do they even FIND marijuana?? I wouldn't know where to get it if I tried! Like you, I haven't even SEEN marijuana! And I was a teen in the 70s! Same with my husband! And I was not religious or a big anti-drug activist back then, either. I wanted to be cool. But smoking pot was the farthest thing from my mind! @cindybin2001 A grown adult should be WELL PAST the age where they want to use a mind-altering drug to relax and unwind, enjoy life, get "buzzed", etc. And that includes alcohol. but these pot smokers use every excuse in the book, and over and over and over. For ten years I've heard the same things! It drives me nuts! Again, go read my channel, I've got some rants there in my profile and channel comment section! Anyway, after talking to pot smokers online, I think it should be ILLEGAL FOREVER!

@cindybin2001 These people with good jobs and families and good grades--you think if they got busted, a judge would care how much they make or how high their grades are or how cute their kids are? NO!!! Not were I live! You'll go to jail for making excuses for breaking the law! You're just a number in the court room! But these casual pot smokers don't care. They think they are ABOVE the law. And they can't understand that even if pot were legal, it doesn't make it right!

@cindybin2001 As I was saying, I'm more convinced than ever that it should be illegal forever, with very stiff penalties for anyone caught even looking at pot!! And my reason?? SPITE!!! Pot smokers are HORRIBLE!!! Any lawmaker even CONSIDERING legalizing marijuana should read the comments on YouTube! I can make one post saying we shouldn't smoke pot, and within minutes I'm called the c-word, my inbox is flooded with hate mail, etc. Even the "nice" ones are horrible!!
