This video is probably the best video i have seen of him so far. its truly amazing ! and everything thats written is true, in my heart river will never die. he was a wonderful actor and a great human. i still wonder why his life got tooken away so young, i guess we will never know. Rest in Peace River , i love you <|3.

Oh wow, This video was uploaded the year I discovered River. This song always brings me to tears and I'll always remember the year I was 14 (2006) as one of the best years of my teenage life because it was the year I watched Stand by Me for the first time. River will always be remembered in our hearts for the beautiful person he was and this song tells that story. RIP River, We miss you....

I just watched stand by me the other day and when chris and gordie were racing my first thought was run river run and i just had to listen to this beautiful and touching song about river. RIP River Phoenix
