Nick leads them all into court to get to the bottom of a bizarre series of events and chain reactions that lead to some thirty-nine separate lawsuits. The question is .... who was at fault? Guests: Stephen E. Miller, Garwin Sanford, Alex Bruhanski, Joseph Gallagher, and Zinta Williams. Still amazes me that the CBC has not put any of these out on DVD.... the series ran for 18 years!

The episode in question was originally broadcast on September 29, 1985. The promo may either be from that date or from when they repeated it later on in the season.
