Cage Concern

Hi, We are Luke Smith and Gav Loftus. From the 27th June - 4th July we are locking ourselves in a cage, day and night, for a week outside St Michael le Belfrey church, just next to York minster.

Why on earth are we doing this? Because we believe that Jesus offers us freedom whenever we feel trapped. And we want to tell people about how good this is.

All over the world people are not free in different ways. Some people are actually in cages or slavery, others are trapped in bad relationships, and for others it may be that the choices in life seem made for them leaving them frustrated and angry.

Within all of these situations and more Jesus offers freedom. During our week in the cage we will be praying for people who are not free in these different ways. We would also love to pray with or for you, if you would like us to.
