@Deler1us yeah, the fairy necklace is like Demon's Souls' motto: being a dick. I know of a way to make the fairy necklace actually worth getting, but it's a secret I'd rather not give away.

the fairy necklace grants more experience on slain enemies... but it's practically worthless because your most likely max level by the time you get the gold anyways.

@RedWizard0 Oh! the fairy necklace! riiight. well yes, that's true, it is wierd that it doesnt work like it was supposed to (if indeed it was supposed to revive you once after death). And ha ha ha, you know very well I can't do the genesis versions, heh.

Well, this glitch would be the fault of more the emulator design than the game itself. The original game on the snes had no option for turning off layers, afterall.
