they play dead and even can live under water for 24 hours. there webs are epic they have trip lines shaped like a funnel hence there name and we ready it comes out and kills anything that hit the trip line even people.

astonishing it the way that it attcks after provoked the fangs are out to sting. probably if a funnel web finds a place to stay a make its nets seems ok ...but when the male comes for her mate after a raining day .. then problems may occur ...check your shoes in the garden always if you leave them outside...

I was in Australia on holiday from england and came to the reptile park on my birthday 28th April 2007. And after went to see the Sydney Swans play at The Sydney Cricket Ground. p.s. Sorry to hear about Eric. Greetings from billy
