For the frednotamused.com blog (a part of the Ana-Them Records Family)

A couple of weeks ago here in Seattle, I cedric ross (aka fred roth of the fred roth revue) saw the Dig at the Crocodile Cafe. They were on tour with the band the Henry Clay People. The Dig was supporting their latest release titled "Electric Toys", which is on sale at amazon.com and iTunes.

So the band let me interview them before they took the stage. I met up with them while they were eating some of the amazing pizza at the Crocodile (mmmmmm...goood!). Before you all start callin' me out for interviewing them while they were having dinner, let the record show that the band actually preferred doing the interview this way. We talked about a ton of stuff but I edited down what I thought was the best bits of the interview.

NOTE: The audio is boosted a bit to try to compensate for the loud music in the background. Not perfect but you should be able to make out most everything the guys said.

After the interview, they invited me to stick around and hang with them and the other bands. It was a blast! When the Dig took the stage, they even dedicated the song "Two Sisters In Love" to me. It was a great set, the guys could not have been more accommodating. Their live set was energetic and heavily guitar driven. Jamie, the drummer laid down some thunderous beats which the rest of the band fed off of. I also really appreciated seeing Eric play both the Keyboards and the Guitar. David, who is also a guitar player, wrote the tune "Two Sisters In Love". Him and Emile (Bass player) probably have known each other the longest. They are relatively new to the tour scene but you would not have guessed it seeing them rock the Crocodile that night.
