Gibson Guitar Corp. Responds to Federal Raid

Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp., has responded to the August 24 raid of Gibson facilities in Nashville and Memphis by the Federal Government. In a press release, Juszkiewicz said: "Gibson is innocent and will fight to protect its rights. Gibson has complied with foreign laws and believes it is innocent of ANY wrong doing. We will fight aggressively to prove our innocence."

Gibson corp. or the CEO did not donate to the correct political party that's why Gibson was raided it has nothing to do with wood or the environment. Most high end guitar manufactures use the same wood yet no others have had the bastards take over the plants. By the way the other guitar companies DID donate to the correct party so think about that next time you buy a guitar... Did you hear him NO charges filed even to this date. Due process of the law???

The wood is fragrant and commands a high price. It is used to make premium-grade furniture, panelling, veneers, and interior and exterior joinery. Secondary uses of the wood include; knife handles, musical instrument calico-printing blocks, mathematical instruments, agricultural implements, and boats keels and screws. Govt agencies,( IRS / EPA etc), are never used for political means :) They're just trying to save the planet ! Need to start raiding the veneer co's, they use a buttload of it.
