I have two questions about what is shown:

First, after starting the top, why do you slide the starting plate around, making the top oscillate? Is it that your starter is (deliberately) starting the top spinning too fast to be stable, and by waiting until just after it stops oscillating before raising the plate, the top then has about the fastest rotation it can have and still be stable in the air?

@MrMammophile I slide the starting plate for made the top oscillates because in this way I can to elevate the top without that velocity flips away the top itself. In fact starting the top spinning too fast is counterproductive to have succes with levitation, then I wait it stops oscillating before raising the plate.

So, the fastest rotation of the top in air is not possible if it is raised with starting plate, I think that it is possible only accelerate the top after starting the levitation.

I have used a plastic colored nail (for babies), and that magnet, with a cap of syringe for the grip with a plasic ring adapter for all and the hole of the magnet!!! See you...

It is more heavy, 30 grams compared to the original 20 grams, and has more inertia; the diameter is smaller than 2.7 cm to 2.9 cm in the original, and has less precession; plus the magnetic force is more strong, 8.5 kg compared approximately 6 kg of the original. The reason its shaking sideways when spining fast is because your transparent plastic to raise it is to thick. If you would use a thinner plastic raiser the top would be stable at high speeds meaning it could use that speed to stay aloft longer.
