This is a great excercise to do before a performance! Do you have anything just for true bass singers???

@blagmusic the piano is inaudible.

This is incredibly helpful! I have a voice audition coming up in which I have to sing a Blues scale and I really can't play the piano so this is a life saver

@shuangyang66 Hahah, same problem here!!The difference is that I've been playing guitar for 4 years xD

What kinda sounds do you make when practicing this singing? La-la-la-la-la? La-ga-la-ga-la? Mum-Mum-mum-mum-mum? Do-Re-Mi? What? Sorry, I dunno how to go about practicing this, I'm not used to doing these kinds of excersizes (I only just started training my voice)

Thank U sooo much for theses studies. I study online a lot, among other things, and these lessons make it quite convenient to practice without leaving my computer.
Please keep 'em comin'!!!

If the Root = Minor
It can be thought of as:
Chord I(min7)
Chord IV(min7)
Chord VII(dominant 7)
Chord III(maj7)
Chord V(dominant7)

i have no music background, all this theory looks very intimidating. i've been playing the guitar for 7 years, i'm thinking of learning music theory. is it very hard? i looks very complicated

Hi.
The turning point for me was realising or appreciating what I call "naturally occuring triads" I think the proper name is "diatonically occuring triads". I have a vid uploaded about "naturally occuring 7th chords". As a guitarist learning that concept will be slightly different due to the way that each chord is visualized. I suggest you get a book or vid tutorial dvd that takes you from the beginning. It's all about the complete mastery of the major scale. Good Luck!!

Hi,
Just sing the melody to whichever vowel sound you wish.
Personally I prefer just humming!:o)
