awesome....i have one happy cockatiel.....i never took him out of the cage.....i never got him used to it. how would i approach doing that? he's a friendly bird at times. he has his moments when he doesn't want to be bothered with, but i hand feed him all the time. how would i approach taking him out? we've had him for 8 years now.
@ijemekkos4life I'm sorry, I just now saw your reply. Have you had much luck with your bird training yet? The first thing before trying to let your bird out of the cage is to have his wings trimmed, I suggest having an expert do it the first few times at first. Then you can open the cage doors and allow your bird to come out of the cage on his own. Email me back if you're still needing help. Good Luck to you and your bird, he will certainly want out to stretch and get exercise.
@Ryancannon95 The poster after you got it right. Hootie is locked up by himself cuz all he does all day is chase the other birds, he gets right in their faces and screams non stop at them. It is now 5 years later and he still does the same thing. :) Thanks for watching my videos...I only wished they were clearer. My birds are now in their own birdie room, a true Cockatiel Wonderland as Bakugan puts it. Hopefully I'll be able to post their habitat soon.
OMG some of those birds look like my male tiel, the ones with orange cheeks and at 0:49 you can see one of them. oh and my female's fave toy is my earring lol she goes BEZERK!
