I originally consider Kd7 or Kd8 and eventually I figured that sacrificing the exchange would be the only way to force a draw, and it amounted to the variation you just gave.

Black won't play Kc7.

Well done Majnu. I spent a little while trying to find the solution but kept on missing Bb7.This is one tricky little puzzle.

Nice video Majnu. I did see Bb7+ mainly through looking at all checks. Rb8+ looks more natural but I saw the potential mating net. Fine if you've plenty time relaxing solving chess puzzles. What would it be like over the board with a clock ticking?!

Over the board with a clock ticking?! That would be very stressful. ;)

Nice video, Majnu. I have a nice book that you would enjoy called called 'Practical Chess Endings' by Irving Chernev. This position reminds me of the character of many positions in that book. Thanks for posting this study. I am doing a lot of visualization training at the moment, too, so this is helpful. When I am in the car I play through recent tournament games in my head, but it is very difficult and hard work. I also practice moving a knight between two points on the board. Thanks again!

Drive carefully!
Yes, good visualization is essential for over the board chess.
