"Hurt" performed at the Chicago Recording Company in April of 2000. I do not own this song.
*****For you guys and gals who felt like "Hurt (Quiet)" from The Deluxe Edition of The Downward Sprial had little difference from the original and didn't believe it was a "true" deconstructed piece, look no further than this acoustic performance of "Hurt" entitled "Take One."*****
The CRC Sessions, or also known as "Live and Deconstructed in Chicago" was a rather stripped down performance. All songs were performed acoustically, and some believe that the CRC Sessions was the precursor to the 2002 EP "Still (And All That Could Have Been)."
@MrFlatmint So true! And I hate myself for saying it. I've got 5 NIN tattoos and this song is so cliche. I bleed NIN but this song destroyed itself unfortunately. Much Love to Trent Reznor though for using it in concert still.

It does sound pretty good especially for a song that could well be called a victim of its own success.Nice
