You're Better Off Dead

Yet another Children Of Bodom song. This is a fun one, and it is very technical. I changed up the first mini solo, but I stayed pretty true to the original for the main solo, which is tons of fun to play.

This song's chorus is definitely the highlight for me. For the first chorus, I play the melody, harmonizing the second time. For the second chorus, I played it normally once and then used my own interpretation the second time. At the end, I did a little Fredrik Thordendal/Meshuggah impression.

I had terrible luck recording this song. For one take, it sounded good, but my camera was pointed the wrong way. For another take, a firetruck drove by my house, and it's siren drowned out my solo. And for another take, I forgot to hit the stupid record button!

By the way, I drank that entire 1.5 liter of water during the making of this video. There is a crazy heat wave hitting California right now!
