All rider, the Kawi wakes up by the end but still nowhere near the red line. Bmw's are good for lugging side cars not racing.

I just purchased a used 2000 R1100S (speical edition).... and the thing I like most about it is that it has such an extremely wide powerband and such great handling. I can dive into a corner, not bother to downship, and grab a handful of throttle at 2500 RPM and accelerate with authority.

We can argue about who is faster, but when I  ride I am rarely, if ever, racing.

The ZX is 79% of the weight, with 130% of the horsepower of the BMW. You can put the exact same tires on both bikes (as long as the BMW has the 5.5 inch rear wheel).

This guy drives a 4 cilinder like a V-twin, you need to rev up seriously. If you don't you'll lose to the massive torque of the R1100s.

Although the BMW is a very good bike, it was't built for the same racing purposes as the zx-6r.

The zx-6r is just a lot faster on the track if you ride it well.

I see no racing here, just a buddy filming another buddy, that's it. I've done that many times to my friends, all liked it a lot!!

just a bad rider on the ZX , only using half the revs. I have R1100S and they are great bikes but the ZX should beable to walk all over it. Half the weight more power better tires probably.
