Because If I'm running Linux. I'd much rather be running Gnome 3.
-
@vhbil One legit way is you are intelligent enough to use Linux but at work they use 'Doze. This way you could then run KDE style at work.
-
@vhbil games, music production, and graphical design prevent some of us from doing those things. I agree though to a certain extent - try installing and running linux if you have a spare HDD, or run it if you don't do anything dependent on windows!

@milesmeloro as if i didn’t know that. what i wanted to tell @linuxuser432 is that kubuntu = ubuntu.
the problem is that there is no name for gnome ubuntu. let’s call it “gubuntu”. gubuntu is as much part of ubuntu as kubuntu is.
was that somehow clear (i’m not too good with english)?
-
@trueflyingsheep No, KDE is a free desktop environment available for most operating systems that a derivative of Ubuntu called Kubuntu uses. It's not part of the Ubuntu project, it's its own.
-
@linuxuser432 you know that kde is part of ubuntu?
-
@linuxuser432 Ubuntu is for noobs
-
@linuxuser432 *poof*
-
