This version does suck compared to axl's. That just shows how great axl/gnr was. Their shitty demo version destroys a professional studio version by another band.

Axl and Danny wrote this tune together. Both were going to use it at one point. Danny n' the guys used it instead.

Wildside has the best cover of this song. Can't find it on youtube anymore.

I don't know how anyone can say this one sucks compared to Axl's? This one is clear and sounds professionally recorded. I think some people just prefer to swing on Axl's nuts because he's the lead singer of GNR. Just because he's in GNR doesn't make him a god.

@round105 When it came out it was a toss up between AB and Wildside getting the song, these guys got it.

guys guys axl gave the song to these guys so just listen to it and not complain
-
not bad but i rather listen to the GnR version

you are all wrong. West Arkeen wrote this song with Axl Rose on their side project Smith & Wesson. The tape you hear is West on Guitars, a drum machine and Axl on voices. That is it. Guns N Roses passed on the song and it was sold/recorded by West's friend Danny Clarke as Asphalt Ballet.

@round105 wrong again !!

The Axl Rose version is better
axl was friends with this guy they grew up axl gave him this lyrics for him to sing in the pig album thats why he sounds like axl so stop being dicks iy was axls choice

This song is originally by Axl and a friend of his. There is a demo somewhere around. This is a DIFFERNT band covering this song. Axl is not singing.
And this version sucks compared to Axl's :\

read the title, it says Asphalt Ballet, a kick-ass band from the 90's
and i find this version more listenable than the original gnr demo

I know it's Asphalt Ballet singing, I meant it's a differnt band than Guns N' Roses singing it. my bad. lol.
I don't know, I just don't like the singer. :\
If Axl redid this song with the same but cleaner cut instrumental and vocals it would be one of the best songs in a long time.
