  • I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

  • he really should have paused there, no dramatic effect, no time to think. should have gone "tread softly, *pause* for you tread on my dreams"

  • This is much more emotive and soulful version of this sublime poem and it is singed by an amazing tenor /watch?v=4C9yFnSYwIM

  • @Roaningdotcom RIght on! The pauses speak volumes. Learning where to pause in speech/poem delivery is just as important as the content.

  • im singin this song in choir :o

  • I watched it tonight forty-three times. I feel like the little prince, when he watched the sunset. Maybe this is one of the most beautiful poems in world literature.

  • OMG we need Yeats now; I mean not only the United States & UK but the entire fucking world: we have not only lost our way we have become so trivial, so mundane, so vulgar as citizens in our thought and actions that I wonder if we aren't promoting (and ensuring) a new Dark Age?

  • This is perfect! Thank you for posting!
