@technoblogical Yes, thank you ^^ It runs:]]] Can you make a tut, on how to find specific IP? i wanted to track a friends IP on skype, sent him a large pic and went directly in netstat, but there were 4-5 constant IP showing my connection to them when I typed "netstat 1", when I typed "netstat -b", same thing:/ How to sort the IP's and get the one I want, which was the one I was connected to at that time?:) 10x for your time and keep on doing videos like this^^
im using Xp, when i type in "netstat" an error saying "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetmib1.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
...which is totally weird.

@AngryBirdSEASONS Try to run "sfc dot exe slash scannow" It'll probably ask for your XP install disc. It's a system file checker. If that doesn't work you can download a new "inetmib1 dot dll" from dll dash files dot com.

I tried doing netstat -b, but it said: "The requested operation requires elevation"
How can I fix it? PLS S'ONE REPLY :////

@theCIAguy007 I assume you are on Vista, 7, or Server 2008. Find CMD in your start menu, right click it and choose "Run as administrator". The command prompt will trigger the UAC when you run it, but then you can netsat -b.

When i use nestat it of course shows my IP Address but when i have other wireless connections such as friends with their laptops why does it not show with their dynamic IP's? I want to be able to see who else is connected by all it seems to give me is myself and what ever else i am connected to on the Internet.
Where am i going wrong, or is this the wrong command for what i am trying to do?

@blade004 Wrong command. Netstat only shows devices communicating with your PC. (Doesn't matter OS) So, unless one of you are accessing shared folders, files, or printers on each others machines, you'll never see them with netstat or nbtstat. If you are all using the same network, you can always go see their IP and Mac addresses on what ever serves as your DHCP server. (Probably your wireless router.) If you don't have access to that you could always use a program like Angry IP Scanner.
