Selena: *passes Nick in the hallway* Jerk
Nick: What did I do now?
Selena: You know what you did!
Nick: Be more specific, I do a lot of things
Selena: You know you got Demi pregnant*walks away*
Nick: Good, my plan worked then...

AT THE LUNCH TABLE LATER

Tiffany: So how was everyones weekend?
Nick&David: *walk by*
Nick: Yeah Demi, how was your weekend?
Selena: *gets up* LEAVE HER ALONE!
Nick: I wasn't talking to you
Joe: Back off Nick
Nick: What do they know?
Miley: Know what?
Nick: I'll take that as a no
Demi: GO AWAY NICK!
Nick: I just wanted to know what your gonna do with-
David: Stop Nick
Nick: Why?
David: Cause I said so
Nick: What? Are you going soft on me?
David: Just leave them alone Nick, haven't you caused them enough pain?
Nick: Not yet *turns back towards Demi*
David: *grabs Nick and turns him back around* I SAID LEAVE THEM ALONE!
Nick: Shut up David!
David: *punches Nick*
Nick: *falls to the ground*
Everyone: *shocked*
Nick: *gets back up*
David: *punches Nick again*
Nick: *falls back down*
David: *gets on top of him and starts hitting him*
Joe: *tries to pull of David, but can't* A little help please?
Jimmy: Give him a couple more minutes
Mitchel: I'm with Jimmy on this one
Nathan: *looks off into another direction*
Yeasa: Come on Jimmy
Jimmy: But...
Yeasa: Jimmy...
Jimmy: Fine *gets up*
Mitchel&Nathan: *get up too*
Joe, Jimmy, Mitch, and Nathan: *pull David off of Nick*
Tiffany: *runs over to David* I don't think this'll help your probation any
David: No, but it was worth it...*looks up and sees Ruby staring at him and stares back*
Tiffany: *looks back and forth between them, then remembers the conversation on Saturday night*

FLASHBACK: SATURDAY NIGHT WITH TIFFANY AND DREW

Tiffany: What do you think is wrong?
Drew: I guess where about to find out...*knocks on David's door*
David: Come in
Tiffany&Drew: *look at each other*
Tiffany: He never lets us in...
Tiffany&Drew: *go in*
David: *laying on his bed* What do you want?
Drew: We wanna know whats wrong with you
David: Why do you care? You 2 are afraid of me all the time, why should you have a sudden change of heart?
Tiffany: David, your our brother, of course we care about you
David: Then why are you afraid?
Drew: Can you blame us? You brought a knife to your old school and were threatening to kill people, you've been in jail for 2 years, what do expect?
David: I expect my family to trust me
Tiffany: We do, we love you David, and right now were worried
Drew: I know were not mom and dad, but were trying to do our best to stick together
David: You can never replace them
Tiffany: We're not trying to
David: Good, cause your doing a terrible job
Drew: What can we do to make your life better
David: All I want is for you 2 to not be afraid of me, I would never hurt you 2, you know that
Drew: We do, and we'll try harder now
Tiffany: *hugs David*
David: *hugs back*
Drew: *joins in*
Tiffany: Now will you tell us whats going on?*pulls away*
David: I've just been thinking about the past month, I really have been a jerk
Tiffany: Your just now noticing?
Drew: What brought this on?
David: Well...I like this girl, but she won't give me a chance cause of the stuff I've done
Drew: Well then, your gonna have to change
Tiffany: Just show her your different now

END OF FLASHBACK

Tiffany: *realizes its Ruby he likes*
Principle: What happened here? *sees Nick on the ground, unconscious and bloody*
David: I did it
Principle: Mr. Thornton, looks like I'm gonna have to call the police
David: *sighs* I know
Tiffany: *feels bad because she knows he was just trying to do the right thing*
Principle: Follow me
David: Yes Sir.
Tiffany: *hugs David*
David: *hugs back, then follows*
