I remember these games - it took several years to get by Detroit; when the Bulls finally swept them it was the sweetest feeling I've ever had as a sports fan.

Fights, finesse, buckets, dunks and passion. Man I loved 80s basketball. TBS and CBS broadcasted some epic battles back then

I have no problem saying that Jordan was the best ever. However, he never would have won as many championships if the NBA hadn't handcuffed the Pistons. Jordan whined to his old buddy Rod Thorn after he got the job with the NBA rules committee. Before that happened, physical defense was actually part of the game.
