High Stakes Poker is back for Season, Sitting at the first table are returning pros Doyle Brunson and Antonio Esfandiari. They are joined by the 3rd woman in HSP history, Vanessa Selbst, who comes in with over 3 million dollars in career earnings. The pros are challenged by amateurs Robert Croak, the creator of SillyBandz; Bill Klein, a retired businessman and philanthropist; and billionaire entrepreneur Phil Ruffin, who owns the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Everything about this sucks compared to previous seasons. The new casino is ass ugly, the microphones are too sensitive to chip stacking, Norm is not a good host or qualified to be discussing/analyzing high stakes play, the players are too crunched together when there is room to spread out, the camera angles aren't as good, and most of the best high stakes players in the world (Full Tilt pros) can't play. What a shit heap.
